For Logan's Easter Party tomorrow at Preschool. I volunteer to bring in a sweet treat! I serisouly thought I was going to have a heart attack making these bunny cookies! Leah wasn't helping the situation at all. She kept on wanting to help but she kept on making a bigger mess. I felt bad but I had to banish her from my kitchen. While taking her nap, I decided to decorate some of the bunny cookies. I thought it would be best not to put too much frosting on the cookies.
I included my sugar cookie recipe. I have used this recipe so many times. The cookies taste nice and buttery but not too sweet! You serisouly can't screw this recip up!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies
INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)
1 1/2 cups butter, softened
2 cups white sugar
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
5 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
DIRECTIONS
In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir in the flour, baking powder, and salt. Cover, and chill dough for at least one hour (or overnight).
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Roll out dough on floured surface 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. Cut into shapes with any cookie cutter. Place cookies 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 6 to 8 minutes in preheated oven. Cool completely.
So, what do you all think? Cute? Scary looking? I'm in a hurry so no time for prefection! I think the kids are going to love them!

those are SO cute! I like that you didn't use a ton of frosting...it makes them too difficult to eat when there is a ton of frosting all over them. Reese is going to love biting her bunny's ear's off tomorrow at preschool!
