Snow Day!!!!!!!
The kids were all outside waiting for the bus. The bus never came. I invited all the kids over to play at our house. Its 7 o'clock in the morning. I needed a quick activity to keep the kids busy. So, I went to the Teaching Tiny Tots website. I found this great idea to make bird seed cakes. Click here! for directions!
Also, on the side note! I feel really sad for all of my friends who hate having their kids home today. My phone has already been ringing off the hook from my friends upset they have to spend the day with their kids. I feel really bad for mom's who can't stand to be with their kids. I see it as a gift from God. An extra day to spend with my kids. Gosh, if your kids are bored. Than, do something with them: a craft, read them a book, and play a board game!!!!!!! Gosh... I'm going to get off my soapbox.

I'm with you on your soapbox! I can't stand it when people complain that their kids are off school for a day or they don't know what they'll do with them ALL SUMMER LOOONG! I would be thrilled and jumping for joy. Even in our short time of preschool with Toby we were counting the days when he DID NOT have to go! Enjoy your day with your kids! The birdseed cakes look great.
