Happy Homemaker Monday

On my bedside table:

The Choice by Nicolas Sparks

On my TV:

Baby Einstein

On the menu for tonight: Leftover BBQ

On my To Do List:

I have to take Logan to the dentist-OUCH! He has to get several crowns and cativities filled. Oh, it will probably be close $1,000 in dental work.

Laundry

Dishes

Basically cleaning up the whole house:(

New Recipe I tried last week: Boston Market Mac and Cheese! This is the best Mac and Cheese recipe. I'm never going back to the blue box mac and cheese. Its so creamy and cheesy! My favorite comfort food.

In the craft basket:I'm working on untangling my yarn and making a scarf!

Looking forward to:I just started Level 2 of the 30 Day Shred. I was very surprised to find out it isn't as hard as level 1 but still a great workout. I'm getting closer everyday reaching my weight loss goal. I only have 8 more pounds to go!!!!!!!!!!!!

Homemaking Tip for this week: I discovered you can take most bread recipes and mix up the dough in your bread machine. It saves you time and energy. Once, the dough is done, I just dumped it out and roll it into loaves! Saving time is my friend!

Favorite photo from last week:

Favorite Blog Post of the week (mine or other): None at the moment!

Lesson learned the past few days: Spending my time wisely. I seriously couldn't sleep last night because I was so overwhelmed with things to do. I'm learning what I need to cut out of my life and what things I need to make a priority. Its not easy but its all about finding balance!

On my Prayer List:
My family
My husband and children
My Sanity...lol...

Devotionals, Scripture Reading, Key Verses:

It's Up to You

I gave you life, but I cannot live it for you.I can teach you things, but I cannot make you learn.
I can give you directions, but I cannot always be there to lead you.I can allow you freedom, but I cannot account for it.
I can take you to church, but I cannot make you believe.
I can teach you right from wrong, but I cannot decide for you.
I can give you love, but I cannot force it upon you.
I can teach you to be a friend, but I cannot make you one.
I can teach you to share, but I cannot make you unselfish.
I can teach you respect, but I cannot force you to show honor.
I can grieve about your report card but I cannot make you study,I can advise you about friends, but I cannot choose them for you.
I can teach you about sex and the facts of life, but I cannot decide for you.
I can tell you about drinking, but I cannot say “no” for you.
I can warn you about drugs, but I cannot prevent you from using them.
I an teach you about goals and dreams, but I cannot achieve them for you.
I can teach you kindness, but I cannot force you to be kind.
I can warn you about sin, but I cannot make your morals.
I can love you as a [daughter] son, but I cannot place you in God’s family
I can pray for you and your future, but I cannot make you walk with God.
I can tell you how to live, but I cannot give you eternal life.

YAY you're doing 30 Day Shred too.

I am about to end Level 1 and yes, it's really tough. I haven't lost any weight yet though, but I've noticed my body shaping up nicely and my abs are awesome LOL

I've been trying to pare things down as to not be overwhelmed too. It's hard! I guess it's all about making priorties. Must work on that.
