This week we are learning all about bats. We are reading two books called StellaLuna and Bumblee Bat! I really enjoyed Stellaluna and I need to see if I can pick up the dvd! I also had the boys watch a video on Youtube about Stellaluna. I wanted to post the video but I can't seem to figure out how to add videos to this new blog.
The first idea I took from No Time For FlashCards! What I did was cut out handprints and make them into bats. I also worked with Landon on how to make stars. Its a lot more complicanted than you could possibly image. Overall, the kids had a great time with this unit study.
