Oh, how I really wish we had a Christmas tree.
Sorry, I started this post last week. Its been so crazy around here. I haven't had much time to devote to my blog. Also, I can't seem to upload any pictures. My computer just freezes up. I hoping it will magically fix itself but usually, I need my Mr. Fix It man (my hubby) fix all my problems.
Oh, yes the Christmas tree. Christmas is right around the corner and no tree still. My hubby keeps putting it off. I really don't want to go behind his back to pick out a tree but I'm not sure how much longer I can wait. I usually like to get a tree the first week of December.
Landon came down with an ear infection the other day. I decided to let him skip school for the day and stay home with us. Well, we didn't really stay home but were busy running errands. He was little bit upset we didn't stay home because he wanted to play all day with his little brother.
So, while we are running all over town. We ended up driving past a Christmas tree lot. The kids wanted to stop so bad to get a tree but oh no. We don't want to do it without Daddy. I'm not sure why I'm waiting for him. He hates picking out a tree.
He grew up with the fake plastic kind. I grew up always having a fresh tree. I think his hoping to make me miserable so I will want a fake tree. Sorry, hubby not going to happen. Its not Christmas if you can't smell the fresh pine smell.
Anyways, we drive past the lot. The kids are going crazy about wanting a tree. I really wanted to stop but I don't want to ended up in a fight with my hubby about it. I asked hubby when are we getting a tree. He said in a couple more days. Now, its freezing cold outside. He will probably want to push it back past Christmas at this rate.
So, the game plan is to get a tree on Thursday. Five bucks says he will change his mind on me again.
