Reading Challenge: If You Give A Pig A Pancake!

A good book with a good breakfast!
The kids help with mixing up the batter and I fried them up in my cast iron frying pan.

Landon is getting really good cracking the eggs open and not getting any shell in the batter!

Leroy picked up some real maple syrup to go with our pancakes! Yummy...The syrup is so expensive. We tried to use it sparingly.

They turned out delicious!

Looks like a fun breakfast! Over here when the boy learned to crack the eggs with out the shells going in it was pretty exciting. Egg cracking has been a favorite activity for awhile. He had to learn we had to eat all the eggs he cracked, or he'd be asking to crack eggs all day.

be sure to keep the REAL syrup in the frig...the cheapo fake stuff can go in the pantry, but the real deal will spoil unless you refrigerate it!

Looks yummy!
